OVERVIEW

Goal: To create a Personal Health Record mobile application that satisfies six user stories.

Process: Starting with sketches, I iterated as I moved from low-fidelity to high-fidelity. (Since the focus of the class was on prototyping, I did not conduct research or perform usability testing).

Visual Design

I wonder if the button design is competing with the tab design since they are the same color (#1 & #2 in image). If I were to conduct testing, I would conduct an A/B test in which version B has a reduced saturation of blue for the tab color.

Iconography

I did not put accompanying text with the icons on the bottom nav (#3 in image) because I wanted to keep the app design simple; however, if I were to perform usability testing, I would like to compare this with a version that includes text labeling the icons.
